Ephemeral artwork for the basin of the Esplanade at Place des Arts in Montreal.
These poetic sculptures contain a double representation. Originating in the symbolism of water, the artist illustrates the metaphor of biology and the landscape. Akin to living organisms or a view of the infinitely small in the infinitely large, Dulude alludes to our existence and the relationship we have with water. This project is intended to be contemplative like a landscape that we observe, and serene in its simplicity. These immaculate white floating islets will carry your imagination away to a winter wonderland, sprinkled with shining icebergs waltzing on the water at the mercy of the wind.
