Public artwork installed at the Deux ruisseaux school in Gatineau.
The artwork Cyclic is a composition that deals with nature and mathematics. The pictorial work is inspired by these natural phenomena such as the arrangement of the seeds of a sunflower, the elegant spiral drawn by the shell of a mollusk, the rolling of the wave, the welcoming embrace of the Milky Way. The artistic proposal is intended as a metaphor for the cycle, the movement of nature through time and its astonishing balance. The lines connecting the two shapes act like strings giving the illusion of suspended objects, akin to a mobile or even vegetation tied together with subtle threads of a perfect spider’s web.
