This artwork is made up of four sculptures that are intended as an allegory of a worker’s actions, a nod to manual work, the moulding process, and built-up areas. The original idea behind this work pertains to traditional know-how and craftsmanship. Akin to construction workers who use sketches as a starting point to shape matter, bend it, cut it, twist it, and infuse it with their strength, the work is intended as a metaphorical representation of these gestures. Each of the sculptures portrays a consequence to an action, a twisting, rising, and shooting dynamic movement. They all represent some sort of initial intention.
