This work is inspired by the idea of encounters and collective potential. The mural made of a lamination of wood is the backdrop for a phenomenon of movement, a phenomenon that marks time and space. The colored lines become the depiction of an imagined landscape, a testament to the changing seasons on a body of water that flows into a river. The suspended scene, much like that of a pop-up picture book, reveals the improbable encounter of an intrigued fox with an arch of wriggling trout. We can observe the fox’s reflection emerging from the undulations caused by the trout.
