Context :
Public artwork set up at the Mother and Child Center of Sainte-Justine Hospital in Montreal.
This artistic proposal embodies the idea of technology, biology, and possible evolution in the field of physical rehabilitation. Due to its movement, shape, texture and color, the sculpture embodies a snippet in time, a phenomenon that is similar to the effect of a working muscle. Its extension is a manifestation of the body exercising, resisting, building itself and getting stronger after exerting itself. With respect to the choice of colors, it illustrates what is imperceptible, such as infrared imagery, thus revealing the beauty of effort.
