Context :
Public artwork set up at the St-Luc elementary school in Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

The sculptural installation titled La chute du savoir (The Fall of Knowledge) depicts a scene, an instant that we discretely captured in the spur of the moment. This work is a poetic interpretation of the pooling of knowledge of a community and the potential of our society. At the heart of this proposal, are the book, the act of teaching as well as language as the driving forces behind the transfer of knowledge. The deer, king of the forest, is chosen as a symbol of the power of knowledge, that which is built, and which drinks from the fountain of wisdom and captures the imagination.
