Public artwork set up at the Alphonse-Desjardins School in Montreal.

The artwork titled Horizon is inspired by Montreal’s landscape. It is a depiction of the island of Montreal and its terrain as it appears in its reflection on the river, showcasing the mountain and its flora. The shape of a yellow birch, Quebec’s emblematic tree, unfolds in a system of fractals. It symbolizes life in perpetual evolution, creating an effect of multiplicity, uniqueness, and harmony. The work in its entirety represents a moment, when light and time seem to stop, to offer us a space for reflection and contemplation.
